February Updates

Happy February!

Thanks for joining me on my new site, where I’ve brought together all of the media I’ve been creating over the years. I want to use this space for monthly updates when applicable and get to share some behind the scenes looks at projects as well as site updates.

The big push to this new platform is finally complete and with it come some new and exciting features. Reading Corner is an idea I implemented toward the end of the In The Shade website as a way to share some free issues with readers and allow them to sample some of what we had on offer. I am happy to continue with this and have free issues of Legends Of Lys here on the site as well as plans for more weekly reading adventures coming later in 2023!

Along with developing a space for readers to sample titles and stories for free, I made the jump to a new online store! Conveniently nestled into the Menu bar, check out the new shop for physical merchandise as well as digital issues and content!

Along with settling this new space and storefront I have been diligently working on new Legends Of Lys pages for Volume 3. This story is largely focused around the political fallout from Amber Festival and the royal family of Lys. I have focused on two siblings, Behl Rheinhart and Rhondir Rheinhart that are both vying for their father’s crown. What starts off as a childhood rivalry turns into a full blown war in Lys. I’m very happy with how this arc has been progressing, check out some preview pages!

Aside from working onLegends Of Lys I am continuing to work on The Expeditions of Atlas Clarke with longtime collaborator and friend, Cory Lahue. We are steadily making progress through issue 6 and I’ve been spending some time doubling back on older issue pages and updating them for continuity and consistency of art style too. Check out some of the work below!

That about wraps it up for updates this month, I’m hoping to have some more interesting news next time with some events for 2023 as well as some new work and pages to show. Be sure to sample some books over at Reading Corner and pick up some physical books and merch in the webstore. Thanks for reading and supporting me!
